FLAG FOOTBALL LEAGUE

​AGE CUT OFF AS OF January 1st, 2021.

• THIS IS IMPORTANT:

  • For example, if your player is 7 years old ON 1/1/2021, he/she should participate in the 5-7 age division EVEN THOUGH he/she turns 8 later that year.

  • HOWEVER, Players can ALWAYS play up, not down.​​

AGE GROUPS ARE:​

• 5-7 CO-ED

• 8-10 CO-ED

• ​11-14 CO-ED ​​​

ALL GAMES ARE PLAYED FRIDAY NIGHT:

• All games are played RAIN OR SHINE, unless there is severe inclement weather as thunder/lightning.

REGISTRATION FEE: 

• $125 - Fee Includes:

  • NFL Flag Reversible top 

  • NJ Flag Shorts 

  • A Pair of Sonic pop in game flags (Non Velcro)

  • Mouth Piece​

Soft Shell Helmets:

• Soft shell helmets are required to play in this league.

• Helmets can be purchased online via Amazon OR use the link to the helmet NJ Flag recommends at the bottom of your confirmation email once registered.

PRACTICE:

• Practice times and locations are determined by the Head Coach/Asst Coach of your team.

• On average you can expect 1 to 3 hours of practice per week. We only ask for teams to practice at least once a week.

Playoff Format:

• Every team makes the playoffs.

• Teams are broken down into brackets to play with teams with similar records. ​

  • Brackets are usual formed if an age group has over a certain amount of teams.​

• Playoff brackets and schedules are determined AFTER the regular season is completed.
